SPONSORS

North Palm Beach SLSC represents a highly respected community group that services the Australian community and its overseas visitors in keeping the public safe, and honouring its commitment to saving lives.

What is generally not understood by the general public is that whilst there is funding available from local governments, and some corporate support from leading corporate such as Westpac and DHL throughout Australia, the general funding of surf life saving clubs largely rests upon the members to generate through fund raising activities, membership fees and sponsorships. Ironically, Surf Life Savers across Australia usually PAY for the privilege of volunteering to save lives and protect the public.

The club is actively seeking additional sponsors who would like to assist the funding of the club and being of such high visibility both as the most northerly and one of the more well known clubs in Australia, exposure for corporate sponsors on signage, on clothing and through club activities provides a terrific return.

In addition, the club has attracted much publicity for its “Outback meets the beach” programme and has featured as a lead story already on ABC News, in the Sydney morning Herald, Daily Telegraph, 2GB breakfast radio programmes, the Katherine Times, Northern Territory News and numerous associated newswires across the country. All in its first year !!

The club would welcome proposals to support this important community venture in meeting the costs of transporting the youths between the Northern territory and Sydney as well as to and from the events, the meals, bedding and clothing supplied.
